CNN's John King USA: Strictly for Chuck Taylor Aficionados?

A while back, we learned that Brittany wasn't fond of the E-Trade baby. "He's too hip!" CNN, the little station that could, is also amping up the hipness, first turning their website into YouTube with iReports instead of legitimate news stories, and now this:


Yes. This show is a guy in a suit talking about Chuck Taylors for an hour every evening. What a dumb logo, and what an ugly shoe.



Speaking of Chuck Taylors, I'm not buying this hip-hop/skateboarding fusion fashion trend. Who designs these, a skinhead basketball player? I can't imagine impoverished kids shooting one another over these lumpy hunks of canvas.

Now, these Jordan Team Elite 2s, there's something to kill someone over.

"High Tide, Storm Rising" - Skinshape

A new Skinshape LP is on the way as of October 28th! "Nostalgia" promises to delve into the world of motives and motifs. Will Dorey (AKA Skinshape) has described this particular track "High Tide, Storm Rising" as "the main theme song of a movie."
