THAT is a good song. my god! I might buy this album today 'cos I feel like wasting money. and I have to buy socks anyway. I wish I could harmonize like Ed Droste and the rest of those well-dressed young men. I don't care. I wouldn't mind being able to sing like Stephin Merrit, either. I DON'T CARE.

"Yellow House" was SUCH a good album. it was like stepping into a sonic bath. I'm still kicking myself in the head for missing them when they opened for RADIOHEAD last year (I will always be a diehard Radiohead fan). And I much rather have seen them open for Miss Feist than Rogue Wave.

The new Phoenix also came out this week, which, as we've discussed before, is amazing. "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" wha wha? with a title like that it has to be good.

    The new Grizzly Bear is super amazing! I should have bought my tickets to see them while it was still not sold out, damn!

    I have a feeling this is going to be on everyone's year end "top 10 albums of 2009" list except for pitchfork. They'll be too cool to list it because.. they are too cool.

    OH DEF. wasn't like, "Yellow House" the album of the year for a lot of websites? I think it was. well, that or whatever Hot Chip's album was.

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want.
