Oh Land, Bjork's long lost Danish daughter, and her new song.
Okay, in a very unsurprising turn of events, I saw Oh Land again this week. I know I have a problem. I'M THE FIRST TO ADMIT IT. And as usually, she was phenomenal live- like she's a very good live performer. I think that's what made me such a big fan. Maybe? Anyway, my dear Oh Land attached a song to the purely-exists-for-Taylor-Lautner-vehicle Abducted soundtrack. Abducted is being panned, I am pretty sure, across the board. BUT THIS SONG IS AMAZING ANYWAY I know it's a long way away, but God I am excited for her new album! <3 see you kids later
I GO BACK TO DECEMBER ALL THE TIME: a review
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night, And I go back to December.... ALL THE TIME (my jam) Once in a life you buy a CD...and it turns out to be kismet. Or you simply buy a CD, which no one ever does anymore, and that in itself is a big deal. So there I stood at Starbucks, somewhat out-of-step on my lunch break. barista stares at me. " Americano ?" The Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet
Only a few minutes in, and these are the first fashion flops that catch your eyes. Male: Taylor Lautner His tux looks like a piece of cardboard. The bow tie is stiffer than his acting. Female: Miley Cyrus Her dress reminds of one that gets kicked off of Project Runway because the designer didn't finish and just stuffed the model into it. QATFYG: Who did you catch?
I SAW "NEW MOON"
AHHHHHH it wasn't as awful as the first? not to say it was great, but like, if you reduce your ... expectations and take in the fact that the young cast seems to have taken (some, Kristen Stewart, seriously, EMOTE) acting lessons in the past few months. but overall- the story itself is way too dry to do much with. and you know they're rushing these all out. meh. I enjoyed it. especially when the Grizzly Bear song played. Lykke Li and Thom Yorke also got nice parts. Taylor Lautner's six-pack (ten-pack? twelve-pack?) revealing drew hormonal gasps from the audience and one "IS THAT IT?" from some girl. Robert Pattinson...he just looks bad to me. But I'm going to dedicate this post to Ashley Green, who plays Alice, easily the only character on there that could keep my interest. GO TO YOUR LOCAL MOVIE THEATER AND MOB!!!! (in America) question: Robert (VAMPYRE) or Taylor (LYCAN)? WHO WOULD YOU BE CELIBATE WITH? Robert is looking increasingly corpse like in press photos. Taylor on the other hand- damn! I'm going to buck from the norm and say whoever plays Alice. she's got to have a name I just don't know it!
