Image
In case you guys didn't know it already, the second season of 2 Broke Girls— aka TV's #1 new comedy (soon to become TV's #1 comedy overall)—premieres tonight at 9/8c on CBS! Shit be real No, I'm not a secret employee hired by CBS to promote their show at any cost, although I admit it may very much seem like it. I just truly love this awesome show and I want everyone else to love it as well, even though there couldn't possibly be someone who loves it just as much as I do. With no further ado, watch this hilarious promo clip for season two: "You never tell a man in prison 'no,' he could hang himself with his belt" HAHAHA! God, I missed Max's one-liners so bad. I'm so excited, can't wait!! Be sure to tune in tonight, or else... This GIF never gets old You've been warned.

The best little show I have never heard of before.

To me, in the past, Starz was a shitty channel my family got in the summertime for a week for whatever reason. It was populated with recently released films and long, drawn-out previews. This is the breadth of my experience with the channel until fairly recent.  Enter:   Party Down . Mike suggested this show to me as something he had read about with positive buzz, which is easy to see upon watching. The show is insanely well-written. Like, you know how whatever Charlie Sheen's old show is is the opposite of a high-brow show? Well this is not that. They made a Chekhov joke on it, for the love of God! Who does that? What I'm confused by was how this short-lived show (on Starz  with such an amazing cast:  Adam Scott pre- Parks and Rec  and always resembling a bird more or less, Lizzy Caplan best know as JANIS IAN from Mean Girls  who is insanely hot here, a dude that looks like the poor man's Owen Wilson, JANE LYNCH OUR GOD IN HIGH HEAVEN, and the ever...

glee

I have a confession to make. I started watching glee. I told myself I would never watch this show. It seems (seemed) stupid and whiny and adolescent. Ok, it still seems stupid. In the past two days, I've watched nine episodes. So help me, the only show I watch with such ferocity is weeds, and no show will ever be as good as weeds. So let me break it down for you: It's a glee club... with a pregnant cheerleader, a boy with a disability, a girl with a fake stutter, the quarterback of the football team (and his cronies), a diva, another diva, some other cheerleaders, and yet another diva. The glee teacher, who is also the Spanish teacher, is expecting a child with his wife who is only pretending to be pregnant, but he's in love with the guidance counselor who is engaged to the football coach who only wears short shorts. Are you getting all this? And they sing about everything. Is this making sense? The first season is on netflix. Just go watch it. I needed something to fill th...

Project Runway

The long-awaited Season 6 of Project Runway finally premiered on Lifetime Thursday night and I, for one, am absolutely thrilled. For the uninitiated, Project Runway is an Emmy award-winning reality show that pits fashion designers in the ultimate death-match. Every week a new challenge is assigned; some challenges are realistic, such as this season's first task, in which the contestants needed to design a gown for the red-carpet. Other challenges are... not so much (season 5 included a challenge in which the designers needed to make an outfit out of car parts). The designs are then judged on the runway and one designer is kicked out. The final designers left standing put together a full collection and show at Fashion Week in New York City. One wins. Pretty basic. The fate of the show was left hanging after the show's creators decided to move it to Lifetime (from Bravo). Various law suits ensued and the show was in limbo for quite some time. Fortunately, everything worked out ...
