The Useless Critic presents: LAST CHRISTMAS
In that last post, Al threw the gauntlet down and asked us all (aka me) to contribute our favorite Christmas carol. Well, "Last Christmas" isn't really traditional, but let me show you what I have in mind: (apologies to the peeps I took dese from) Last Christmas I gave you my heart THE VERY NEXT DAY YOU GAVE IT AWAY This year To save me from tears I'll give it to someone special Once bitten and twice shy I keep my distance But you still catch my eye Well It's been a year It doesn't surprise me HAPPY CHRISTMAS I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying "I love you" I meant it I think you all get the point.
