Today, in Gwen Stefani/No Doubt lyrics

Did you think I forgot? Seriously? I was just tired yesterday! Onwards, Christian soldiers! Today , I decided to throw you a curveball. Bitches. I mean, it's been on my mind all week, naturally. What else am I going to think about? So:  here, we have a b-side. this is called "Everything In Time," but the Los Angeles version. As it exists, there are two. London, I think it's commonly agreed, the sister song, is the lesser of the two. It's too cute, too aware of it's charm. There is something gritty and organic about the LA version, but isn't that LA for you? IO here we go: She asked how we are She asked If I was all weird again And of course I am But I'm trying really hard So I lied to her And I was wearing this prisoner face So deep inside she had to know Once again I've lost control For everything, there is a reason Everything, I hope in time, will come Lying in your bed I am a refugee you try to love But the love that...

Today, in Gwen Stefani/No Doubt lyrics!

Hello there sportsfans! It's 103 degrees in New York and I am currently re-hydrating in my apartment after the most miserable subway ride of my life. So if this post is a little late, you will see WHY. I'm even wearing a dress and still soaked in my own sweat. YEAH SUMMER HEATWAVES IN THE CITY I was a little confused about what song I should pick this week. At first I wanted to do a b-side...but No Doubt has a rich b-side catalog. And that would be opening Pandora's Box, I feel.  So I went with my favorite No Doubt song. I picked "New." So I love Gwen's hair and make-up in this video. Does this girl ever look bad? NO.  Did you know that song was for the soundtrack of the 1999 rave-glorious film Go ? Do you even remember that movie? No I haven't seen the whole thing. I was like 11 and thought that was what cool people did, things like they do in the movie Go . Plus my parents wouldn't let me see it...I do remember it always being at Phar-...

On Decision Points

I know it's been a while. Life and such. On George W. Bush's book, Decision Points: If you can make it through 3/4 of this book, you will have a new understanding of the political mind, and you’ll have done awfully well considering how boring the last two chapters are. No one can really make it through a whole chapter on the Freedom Agenda or the financial crisis. I would suggest trying to read as much as possible (or at least not discourage it). It’s not a book you just sit down and enjoy reading. In fact, it took me more than two months to get through the whole thing. It’s not written in a way that I could grab a venti and lose myself all afternoon. Nevertheless, read it. You just might gain a new understanding of the mind of W. On Quitting: I think we all know W used to drink, and I believe it’s possible W was never an alcoholic. On some level it’s plausible that W acted foolishly when he drank but never drank excessively or alone. Having rather ineloquently over-ex...

ONE SMALL STEP FOR MOONCHEESE

40 years ago, as I'm sure you haven't heard a bajillion times by now, we (and by we, I mean Americans everywhere, I mean God bless us, I mean mankind obviously) put a man on the moon. men on the moon. a PLAQUE on the moon. some people don't believe it and think it was a conspiracy. I don't really care about these people. http://news.aol.com/moon-landing?icid=main|aimzones|dl1|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.aol.com%2Fmoon-landing ^ interesting stuff! (amateur astronomy nerd) I was pretty bummed as a youngster to hear that we hadn't done anything along that magnitude since the 1970s. But, apparently, we're looking to point someone on Mars in the near future (or at least Russia is). now a lot of people think, with the economy as is and other matters pressing, that the space program should be put on the backburner. but judging by the technology that we derived from the moon race, I disagree. LET'S GO TO MARS! Space Mix "My Moon, My Man"- Feist: http://www.sen...
