Duchess Leo interview.

Image
Duchess Leo is the first band Facebook has suggested to me that I've actually enjoyed. They have an interesting ambient sound....the song "Your Sweet Love" won me over nearly immediately. They consist of Dan and Todd, two lifelong friends that live in Brooklyn (duh). Their album, Golden Gray , is out now. And I have to say, I think exciting times lie ahead for this band. 1.) So how did you guys form? You two have been nearly lifelong friends, right? Dan: Yea, we grew up in Randolph, New Jersey. We didn't become friends until freshman year of high school. We played basketball and during preseason had to train by running a couple miles everyday. We'd talk about girls and movies around the track to pass the time. In 2007, we found ourselves in Brooklyn with some spare time. The rest is history.  Todd:  Duchess Leo is kind of a result of our friendship. New Plan: Comedy Central Roast of Judge Judy

Image
My idea: Comedy Central roasts Judge Judy. Why? Because it would be funny, and she is old! It would be almost as good as if they roasted Barb Walters, but I am sure some fembot would complain (Diane Sawyer). I would love to see JJ get torn apart by people less successful than her! I don't give orders to comedy central, but stick this on your calender, and I will be waiting. So if this were to happen, who would be on the panel of insulting, washed-up, rejected comedians? Obv Greg Giraldo and Jeff Ross. (Boredom) Gilbert Gottfried. Perhaps, Martin Sheen. Someone from the cast of the Fresh Prince. Raven-Simone. Wolf Blitzer. New York. Sarah Palin's son-in-law (if he aint snorting his mother's oxy-cotin pills) and of course, Mitch Hedberg...shit, he's dead. Too soon? By the way, if you are wondering what the point of this post is...the answer is nothing! QATFYG: How exactly do you spell Oxy-Cotin? No idea.

Documentary: Raw Deal: A Question of Consent

It's just interesting, and I saw the woman from this film on Judge Judy. In other words, it's fun to look at people less classy than yourself. So enjoy it Dammit!! Warning: This documentary is almost as graphic as Sailor Moon!! (if you look at the subtext)
