2 Broke Girls recap: And the Big Hole

Image
Have you guys heard the exciting news? CBS has officially renewed 2 Broke Girls for a third season! Well, not that there's any reason to be surprised, but that doesn't make me less ecstatic to know that my favorite sitcom will be returning next season. SHANTAY, YOU STAY Now back to the recap. Caroline wakes up at night to the rather unpleasant sound of Oleg and Sophie having sex upstairs. Max comes out of her room with sponges covering her ears and a bottle of booze. "This couldn't be any more intrusive!" Caroline complains. All of a sudden, Oleg's leg comes through the ceiling, followed by a bowling ball. "Why do they need a bowling ball?!" Caroline asks. "Maybe they ran out of holes," Max replies. Han asks Max where Caroline is, as she is 20 minutes late. When she finally turns up, she explains that she had to take a nap because Oleg and Sophie's sex-a-thon kept her up all night. Han insists that punctuality is important,...

So I didn't pay attention to Beyonce last year . Was I really that STUPID? That BLIND? Beyonce has come down from Heaven and partnered with Jay-Z to SAVE OUR SOULS. I am just REALIZING how good of a song "Countdown" is. Have you noticed this? THE LYRICS: My baby is a 10 We dressing to the 9 He pick me up we 8,  Make me feel so lucky 7 He kiss me in his 6 We be making love at 5 Still the one I do this 4 I'm tryna make us 3 From that 2 He's still the 1 is there nothing this woman can't do? I want her to rewrite the constitution. take that, Ron Paul! She just had a baby, too. like today! CONGRATS, JAY-Z AND BEYONCE! and welcome our messiah, Ivy Blue Carter, to da world. Even adorable Norwegian boy Sondre Lerche covered "Countdown":

There are so many reasons why I shouldn't love this song. The title. La Roux. That's pretty much it. But this song is amazing and I almost hate myself for that but then I realize it's Jay-Z and Kanye West and I don't.

my favorite thing about bollywood.

Tru Fam!

Image
Hailing from nearby New Jersey, Tru Fam is a hip hop/pop group (made of identical twins-!!!) that are actually pretty fond of the Useless Critic. and they will be featured in 2011's Vans Warped Tour. that is a HUGE deal in case you are not aware- I mean, a lot of notable bands and performers have been featured on that circuit throughout the years. They have performed in a variety of distinguished venues in their career...Six Flags, Stone Pony, Crocodile Rock, etc., all in different corners of their tristate region, even in New York City. They overcame "the negativity of streetlife" to find glory (and their calling) performing. They cite the work of Jay-Z and Notorious BIG as some of their inspirations. They seem to have a lot going for them and definitely will make it ahead in the business (from what I know- I'm not a pro at this, but you know what I mean). so go ahead and check them out: and their latest You can visit them at their website: http://www.t...

BETTY WHITE ON SNL WAS AMAZING

I still cannot get over how good it was. SNL is NEVER that good! and they brought some GREAT people back, omg. Amy Poehler sounded very weird though... I loved her hits at facebook and the tasteful jokes about her age. and "SHE'S A LESBIAN! LESBIAN!" ahahahaha plus when Jay-Z dedicated that song to her. ahhhh! check out this link for further details: http://www.newsopi.com/showbiz/betty-white-snl/1651/ did you not enjoy that???

Arguably the best and most expensive music festival there is, that I will ONE GLORIOUS DAY attend, Coachella, is this weekend in California. Acts playing this year: Beach House, MGMT (who I am so over!), The Cribs (or wait, stupid volcano), Jay-Z, LCD Soundsystem, Them Crooked Vultures, Grizzly Bear, Vampire Weekend, Gorillaz, Thom Yorke, Hockey, Pavement, Muse, Tiesto, Spoon, Hadouken! (I love that name), Mew, Sia, Dirty Projectors....I could go on but it will just make you sad. One year, one year. Maybe next year? We will play it by ear. I have been bad at updating and there are two things I MUST write about in the future. So I will try this weekend. Right now, it's 6 am. be gentle with me plz. I'm looking for a job and I'm graduating in less than a month. Yung Loc is playing Edinboro next Friday. yup. Music news you should be aware of: - She & Him have probably the best album of the year JUST SAYING - Hole put out a new album? - Kate Nash has a new album out too but...
