As if! Clueless turns 20 today!

Hello ?! Today is the 20th anniversary of one of the most important, iconic, and quotable movies ever! So, OK, I'm, like, totally buggin'!! Not to sound like some pretentious hipster or anything, but I've been a fan of Clueless waaay before Tumblr began revisiting it some 3 years ago. I was 5 when the movie was released, but it wasn't until I was probably 8 or 9 that I became totally obsessed with it. Back then, Cher Horowitz was my ultimate role model. I kept hoping someone would refer to me as the most beautiful girl in Beverly Hills—even though I didn't live in Beverly Hills. I would often try to incorporate quotes from the movie into everyday conversations (so that's where my pop-culture obsession began). Oh, I just loved to describe people as "full-on Monets." Long before wanting a friendship like that of Gossip Girl 's Blair and Serena , I aspired to have a friendship like Cher and Dionne's, so we could be the most popular gir...

I Just Discovered Andy Samberg and Joanna Newsom Are Engaged.

I don't know what big-ass rock I've been living under, because this happened in FEBRUARY. I hear the guy from "The Princess Bride" saying "twoo wuv" Joanna Newsom and comedian Andy Samberg are officially about to get hitched. When? I have no idea. Why? Well, that picture me seems like a like a look of adoration, so. I guess! For a long time, I really didn't like this couple. But Andy Samberg has grown on me exponentially. Thus, I've given them my *meaningless* stamp of approval. Stamp, stamp. All done! I just hope he doesn't introduce her to Adam Sandler. Or who knows; maybe she's a big "The Waterboy" fan.  Here's the new Lonely Island video with P. Diddy, Robyn and Paul Rudd. Why yes! I've had dreams like this for YEARS-

The best little show I have never heard of before.

To me, in the past, Starz was a shitty channel my family got in the summertime for a week for whatever reason. It was populated with recently released films and long, drawn-out previews. This is the breadth of my experience with the channel until fairly recent.  Enter:   Party Down . Mike suggested this show to me as something he had read about with positive buzz, which is easy to see upon watching. The show is insanely well-written. Like, you know how whatever Charlie Sheen's old show is is the opposite of a high-brow show? Well this is not that. They made a Chekhov joke on it, for the love of God! Who does that? What I'm confused by was how this short-lived show (on Starz  with such an amazing cast:  Adam Scott pre- Parks and Rec  and always resembling a bird more or less, Lizzy Caplan best know as JANIS IAN from Mean Girls  who is insanely hot here, a dude that looks like the poor man's Owen Wilson, JANE LYNCH OUR GOD IN HIGH HEAVEN, and the ever...
