Deadhorse is from Erie. which, in the past, would be an automatic turn-off to me because Erie has some shittastic bands. but- I caught them accidentally opening for the Moog in May at the Crooked I. and I was really, really impressed, which never happens!
the music is instrumental, atmospheric and beautiful. it just takes you to another dimension. if you like Explosions in the Sky or Mogwai, you will probably like Deadhorse.
they are currently trekking across the States. check out their MySpace for dates.
(seriously give them a listen, you will not regret it for a second. I'd like to see this band get a lot more support, they deserve it).
