BEST OF 2010 IS NOW UPON US

I will alternate between holiday songs and what I think are the best songs of 2010 for you. only for you, dear readers. my list is accessible on my hypem on the side of this fine page. ;) the things I do for you, readers, who mostly hail from Denmark. hi Denmark!

I started off with a goal of 30 that quickly expanded to 35. it was a very good for music! so it was a hard decision. other contributors: feel free to join me in my efforts. and I don't care what you rank. commercials, Kardashians, news items. I DON'T CURR.

35.) "The End of the World Is Bigger Than Love"- Jens Lekman

I called this classic Jens and I stand by that description. just heart-achingly beautiful.



34.) "Get Some"- Lykke Li

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD. Sarah Silverman has this skit about how she wants to fuck this kind of cheese. And there we have my feelings about this song. Oh, Lykke.



33.) "Boy Lililolllllikoi boy I can't spell today"- Jonsi

The lead singer of Sigur Ros' solo effort was flawless. his voice is perfect and fragile. captures the soaring essence of childhood- you know, when you think you can fly and shit. my heart grows bigger when I hear this song. then it capsizes afterwards.




my little cousin broke her arm the other day. I am compiling her a mixed album for her because I feel bad for the girl; she seems to have my bad luck. putting that on there. she's only seven once- I want her to feel this song while she's still so innocent and it means something!

Give JR a Break

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want. The last episode of PSYCH wasn't so smashing, but I don't blame it on dietary issues. QATFYG: Are you keeping up with Psych? And who is hotter, James Roday or Maggie Lawson? Full Oscar Recap

For starters Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin were great hosts. I really liked their chemistry and humor, but I wondered how they would get through without a musical number.....then there is Neil Patrick Harris to save the day. So like I said, Miley and Taylor were out of line....and I really did not like how when Miley was up on stage with Amanda Seyfried and she says "We're nervous, it's our first time up here." OH come on, like you've never presented an award before, and you've also been to the Oscars.....Not to mention Amanda S. presented the special last year with R Patz about Romance movies. More Recap, Monique won as predicted. Christoph Waltz won as predicted. Jeff Bridges won as predicted. Sandra Bullock won as predicted. All of which were Great and Followed with Great Speeches.
