St. Patrick's Day Songs: #3 Sinead O'Connor Sings Molly Malone



The title says it all. "Molly Malone," also known as "Cockles and Muscles," is by far one of the most well-known and entertaining Irish songs, definitely fun to sing and pass around for a good time.

Sinead O'Connor performs this eerie version of the song, which is unlike many others. It has some enjoyable qualities, but not as exciting as some other variations.

I will say this song reminds us just how tragic of a piece this really is.

    What happened to her ?? Well she just completed a sold out US and UK tour, released a new album which has received rave reviews, got a grammy nomination for the soundtrack of a Glen Close film and starts a European tour mext month (also sold out) I don't miss her I agree with the LA times of 3 weeks ago 'one of the most influential singer/songwriters in music today' wots to miss

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future.
