I was surprised to hear Skrillex played no role in this album. Really. "Halcyon" is good thus far....this track, "Figure 8" and "Only You" have really stood out to me.

    am I the only one who absolutely loves the whole album? well, apart from "Don't Say a Word", that's just weird.

      I admit, I habitually skip Don't Say a Word and Halcyon (which makes me feel guilty since it's the title track, but whatevs, I'm not a huge fan) and then everything else EVERYTHING ELSE IS SO AMAZING. Explosions gets multiple listens every single time. I was dismayed at first by how "slow" all the songs seemed, but now I am so enamored of this album. It took some warming up, but I am obsessed.

      dude I like this album more than the Bat For Lashes album, which says a lot! I love the Skrillex-y parts on here. And also, I LOVE THE HOOD! So Bjork.

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Don't Say a Word was pointless, haha. Figure 8 is the very definition of epic, gawd. I shall save my excitement for my upcoming review.

Give JR a Break

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want. The last episode of PSYCH wasn't so smashing, but I don't blame it on dietary issues. QATFYG: Are you keeping up with Psych? And who is hotter, James Roday or Maggie Lawson?
