ABC cancels Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, ruins my life

Just in case you didn't know, ABC has recently decided to cancel Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 due to low ratings. My sadness/wrath/general dissatisfaction can only be expressed by a series of GIFs:

I know I'm a little slow on this, I'm just really lazy. Plus, it doesn't help that Blogger is such an asstard who's constantly getting on my very last nerve. To be honest, the show's cancellation wasn't quite a shock, considering the plummeting ratings this last season—if I'm not mistaken, it was the lowest-rated scripted series on ABC. Still, there was this tiny little part of me that actually hoped it wouldn't get the axe. On top of that, it's uncertain whether the remaining eight episodes of season two will ever see the light of day. I haven't even fully gotten over the Gossip Girl finale, now ABC goes and cancels my currently second favorite sitcom?? (After 2 Broke Girls, obvs.) This is ass. FUCK YOU, ABC!!!

You and I both, Chloe

I can't even begin to describe how hilarious, original, fresh, witty, and straight-up insane Apartment 23 is, you just have to watch it. Not surprisingly, I love that the show is about a small-town girl who moves in with a roommate in New York, as I'm dying to move there myself sometime soon. I have a major crush on Krysten Ritter—she was absolutely brilliant as Chloe, the titular bitch, who I consider one of the most relatable characters ever (again, after 2 Broke Girls' Max). Ugh, I want her clothes so bad, especially the leather jackets, which are simply to die for. I'm looking forward to seeing what Krysten will do next. Wouldn't it be the best if she guest-starred on 2BG? I'd love to see her opposite Kat Dennings! That would scream SASSITUDE. Gossip Girl alumna Dreama Walker was great too, she and Krysten had so much chemistry. James Van Der Beek had his moments, but I just wish the show had focused a little less on him (sorry, JVDB).

One thing still bugs me, though: Other than being a con artist, and apparently, a drug dealer, Chloe's real job is never explicitly revealed. I mean, she pretty much has the perfect life—a fabulous wardrobe, a nice apartment in NY, mysterious trips with rich diplomats, goes out almost every night. Some people, including myself, just assume she's like a modern-day Holly Golightly (i.e., an escort, like moi). Either that, or she's that good at getting what she wants. I guess we'll never know for sure.

This is what the show was all about

Here's hoping that a cable channel like HBO or TBS will pick it up. In the meantime, you fellow Apartment 23 fans can protest at the Save Don't Trust the B in Apt 23 Facebook page, or on the ABC contact page. I'm not sure if this kind of stuff has worked before, but it's worth a shot. All I know is that although the bitch in apartment 23 was evicted, she will forever be an inspiration to me.

On a side note, have you guys watched The Carrie Diaries like I ordered suggested a few weeks ago? I'm completely hooked on it, this week's episode was so cute. Although the ratings are steady, they could do better, even by The CW's standards. I really hope it gets another season, which chiefly depends on viewership numbers, so if you live in the U.S. and own one of those Nielsen boxes or whatever, I urge you to tune into TCD on Mondays at 8/7c. At the very least, leave the TV on and go do something else. In return, I just did a new Sarah Jessica Parker/AnnaSophia Robb manip. ENJOY.

Man, I should totally be making a living out of promoting TV shows.

"Mon Soleil" - Ashley Park

If there's anything people take away from my piss-poor legacy, I hope it's what a huge, unabashed fan of "Emily in Paris" I am and will continue to be. People love "90 Day Fiancee," "The Bachelor," and other garbage - allow me "Emily," which is at least harmless, kind of goofy fluff (which does, unfortunately, lean into some stereotypes, as the country of Ukraine knows ). I have already watched Season 2 twice. And honestly my favorite part of this show (despite my crush on Camille Razart and Lily Collins channeling Audrey Hepburn hardcore ) is Ashley Park. This woman has superstar written all over her. She's a bona fide Broadway star, and "Emily in Paris" has served as her pivot into the zeitgeist.  "Emily in Paris" is also showcasing her vocal prowess front and center this season, with her covering BTS, "All By Myself," "Sympathtique," and Marilyn Monroe. But the real standout performance is th

Appropriate Holiday Gift Ideas for the Single Lady

While some people may see it as a drag, there are plenty of benefits to being single during the holiday season. During this time of the year, there are tons of parties you can attend that you may not have had the opportunity to if you were in a relationship. There’s also not as much stress on you as a single gal during the holidays because you don’t have to shop for your partner and extended family members  or  stress over where to eat Christmas dinner.  Not everyone sees the bright side of being fancy free during the holidays, and, tragically, they aren't afraid to let us single ladies know. Not only are single women subjected to even more harassment and ridicule during the holiday season, they’re also given the most obnoxious gifts by those who can’t comprehend how anyone can be both happy and single. Whether it’s a self-help book (desperately) trying to reinforce how great is to be single or the gift of a year-long subscription to Match.com , single women are presented with

Give JR a Break

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want. The last episode of PSYCH wasn't so smashing, but I don't blame it on dietary issues. QATFYG: Are you keeping up with Psych? And who is hotter, James Roday or Maggie Lawson? (Trick Question but idk why) PS: If you have heard any more news on Roday and Lawson becoming Roday-Lawson, send it
