Listen to Sky Ferreira's cover of the Commodores' "Easy"

Last Wednesday I turned 27—happy birthday to moi! I'd like to believe that Sky Ferreira was aware of that, because on the same day, she released a cover of the Commodores' 1977 classic "Easy." It is featured on the soundtrack to Edgar Wright's action movie Baby Driver, in which Ferreira plays the mother of lead character Baby (Ansel Elgort).

I missed her voice so bad. Sadly, there's still no word of a release date for Masochism, the long-awaited follow-up to her iconic debut album Night Time, My Time. In the meantime, you can hear Ferreira's vocals on The Jesus and Mary Chain's "Black and Blues," off of their latest album Damage and Joy. She is also set to appear on Showtime's revival of Twin Peaks, which debuted last month.

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want.
