Spotlight/Shoutout: Daniel Bruhl


So I am approaching the end of my 10 week intensive German class,

and I want to give the shoutout to one of Germany's most popular actors, Daniel B!

He has done hits such as "Goodbye Lenin" "The Edukators," and "Inglorious Bastards."

But I can see why he is so often used in German films. Daniel has a look and personality that display charisma and a sense of understanding.

It's too bad he's so old, or else he'd do well in a German version of "Catcher in the Rye."

But anyway, German films are a lot of fun, and I am watching "The Tunnel" tomorrow.
And no, I have no idea who is in it..............

    Klaus Kinski :) (german but, to be precise, born in Sopot, now Poland, Freie Stadt Danzig in 1926)
    I like the girl in The edukators a lot too. (did you like the movie? I saw it recently and was quite impressed) she was also in that movie about Sophie Scholl.

    if you enjoy german movies I'd like to suggest you Heimat by Edgar Reitz, an enciclopedia of german history in images :) and very enjoyable too

    yes, I did like the Edukators,
    I thought the main actress in it was good, but her character for me was a little hard to like.

    And I will look into Heimat, danke sehr. :)

Give JR a Break

Recently, I've been reading some sites that have criticized James Roday, the lead actor on the USA show PSYCH for an apparent weight gain. But you know what? Who gives a flying fizzle stick if James Roday is slightly larger than he was 4 years ago. Apparently, it wasn't enough to scare away his current girlfriend/ co-star Maggie Lawson. (Who is one hell of a Catch!) And NO they are not engaged. That seems to be nothing more than a rumor, but there is a very high chance of it happening in the near future. Anyway, as long as PSYCH continues to entertain I don't mind about James Roday's waist. He, and Dule Hill, and Corbin Bernson too, can eat all the fried broccoli they want. The last episode of PSYCH wasn't so smashing, but I don't blame it on dietary issues. QATFYG: Are you keeping up with Psych? And who is hotter, James Roday or Maggie Lawson?
